All the episodes were based off of the Weird Science comic book series. Following the format used in Tales from the Crypt, the show featured a female robot named Chrome that would introduce each episode and also provide a conclusion when it ended. Most of the episodes kept to the alien invasion, space and time travel themes commonly used in science fiction writing.
