But where Fripp has hermetically sealed himself off from most external influences, Summers shoots with a wider lens, admitting in light from various sources (including world music). Yes, fans of The Police will find traces of his edgy and angular guitar work in his solo oeuvre, but Summers is best suited to fans of new age/ambient music.
