专辑介绍： This week we feature a compilation put out by Chronicles in January 2006. It is the first part of a (so far) two part series dedicated to Electronic Music of the 80s. If you are looking to find obscure or landmark electronic bands on this compilation, read no further. You just won't. They aren't here. There are at least a dozen artists, in my opinion, which were far more influential to electronic music in the 80s that didn't make the cut. Perhaps Chronicles intends to release additional volumes? While it is a nice collection of 80s popular music, I wouldn't consider all of the bands selected on this group to be prominent to the movement of electronic music in the 80s. Additionally, the tracks chosen for this collection are all the "hits" of these bands not necessarily their best or important tracks. In light of all of this, there is one definite advantage to owning this collection over many of the previously released 80s compilations. Many of the tracks are remixed and extended versions that have never been on CD before. Tracks from Lene Lovich, Bronski Beat and the extended version of Soft Cells' Tainted Love/Where Did Our Love Go? are definite highlights in this volume. 专辑曲目: 01. Thompson Twins - You Take Me Up 02.
